Fort Myers River District Parking Guide
Discover your many parking options in the Fort Myers River District!

Parking Options*
On-street, surface lots, meters & timed parking zones are monitored Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Zip Zones
Zip in, zip out, park FREE in the Zip Zone for a total of 2 hours per day anywhere in the entire Zip Zone. Just look for the yellow signs!

FREE Parking Every Night, Weekends & Holidays
Zip Zones and meters are not enforced after 5 p.m. Monday - Friday or on weekends and holidays!
 
Metered Parking
Metered parking is only 25¢ per hour at 10-hour meters, or 50¢ per hour at 2-hour meters.
 
Harborside Lot
At the Harborside lot, use the Pay-By-Space machines; they are only 50¢ per hour. Only bills & coins are accepted, with no change given.
 
Parking Garages
The two downtown parking garages are open Monday - Friday, 6 a.m. – 8 p.m. Cash or coins are accepted, and parking in the garages is only $1 per hour, with a full day of parking not to exceed $5. The Early Bird Special is offered to vehicles entering garage before 9 a.m., Monday - Friday; the special is a daily rate not to exceed $4. 

• The Main Street Garage is located at 2286 Main Street, with entrances at Main & Second streets. Map It!
• The City of Palms Garage is located at 2118 Bay Street, with entrances at Bay & Monroe streets. Map It!

Special Event Garage Parking is only a $4 flat rate fee that you pay on entry into the garage.

Centennial Park
Vehicles can park up to 2 hours per day FREE parking under the US 41 Caloosahatchee Bridge.

Permits
Purchase on-street & garage permits at Standard Parking, 2123 First Street. An on-street permit is $40 per month, and a garage permit is $50 per month.

Restricted Parking

• Handicap Parking: Handicap parking in time-restricted zones (Zip Zones) is increased from 2 hours to 4 hours.
• Boat Ramp Parking: Boat Ramp Parking is marked with signs at the entrance to the lot. Parking spaces are reserved for vehicles with boat trailers only. Cars without trailers may only park in metered spaces.

Avoid the Fines! Read the Signs!
Whether enjoying a bite to eat or other fun activities, be sure to park in the right spot! Parking is enforced Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
