Marvin “Marc” Collins III is the Assistant City Manager for the City of Fort Myers. Collins, 38, comes from Burke County, North Carolina, where he was Assistant County Manager and Planning Director. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Public Management from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
Collins’ areas of responsibility in Fort Myers include, but are not limited to, Community Development, Public Works, Arts and Culture and Harborside Event Center. Collins has a wife, Louise, and two sons, Kyle, 8, and Zack, 6. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, jogging and swimming.
