The City of Fort Myers is proud to partner with the AmeriCorps.

The City of Fort Myers welcomes River 1 - AmeriCorps NCCC team from Vicksburg, MS arriving in southwest Florida on 4/6/11. The team will work with the City and its partners 4/7 - 5/17, 2011. While in the community, the team will assist in helping elderly and disabled citizens having difficulty maintaining their properties and helping the property owner's homes become more energy efficient, tutoring students in a Fort Myers school, City Parks, canal clean ups, wheelchair ramp installation and assisting Habitat for Humanity of Lee County.
