The City of Fort Myers will observe the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 27. All City government offices, including the Solid Waste and Utility Billing offices, will be closed on Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28.
Tonight the Fort Myers Police Department will join residents for a “Stop the Violence” rally and march at Dunbar Park. The event, similar to National Night Out, is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness.
The City of Fort Myers invites you to bring your family and enjoy the sights and sounds of the holiday season on Saturday, November 29th, from 3:00 pm to 7:00pm in Centennial Park. This year’s Holiday Joy and Jazz will feature performances by Susie Jennings, Crazy Horse and Company plus Paul Rozmus and Renata.

City government offices will be closed except for the Solid Waste and Utility Billing offices, which will remain open. All trash will be collected on schedule.
